I am Yasmin Aly, an artist with a background in media and graphic design, shaped by over eight years of experience in the creative industry. After studying Media and Creative Management, I began my career in branding and visual communication, building a strong foundation in composition, storytelling, and visual clarity.
Over time, I felt the desire to go beyond commercial work and explore deeper, more personal narratives through art. My practice has since become a space where I reflect on and respond to the world around me. My work addresses themes such as anti-racism, equality, individuality, feminism, and the complexity of identity. These themes are not only subjects of my art—they are values that guide my creative direction and shape the emotions and messages behind each piece.
I work with a variety of media, and my process is intuitive, reflective, and often rooted in social observation. I aim to create works that provoke thought, spark conversation, and invite emotional connection. Whether abstract or figurative, each piece is a response—sometimes quiet, sometimes bold—to the tensions and beauty I observe in everyday life.
Although my career began in design, I see this path as inseparable from my art. It taught me to see with intention and communicate with purpose—skills that now strengthen and support my artistic voice. My work continues to be guided by curiosity, empathy, and a deep belief in the power of art as a tool for change, connection, and storytelling.
